I recently had the opportunity to record on a C. Bechstein, loaned to me courtesy of Michael Lipnicki Fine Pianos. I chose the C. Bechstein because of its wonderful spectrum of colours, from a ravishing singing tone to a bold brass fanfare, from the most delicate pianissimo to the richest fortissimo. I also appreciated the precision, responsiveness and ease of its action.
